Warren Buffett truly is all-American, right? He loves a good hamburger or juicy steak. He raves about root beer floats. I’m sure he loves apple pie. And we all know he loves baseball.
After all, he has had a stake in the ownership of Omaha’s minor league team for years. They are now known as the Omaha Storm Chasers and play in a brand new ballfield (it’s 1-year-old) just outside Omaha’s city limits.
They know how to do promotions, like all good minor league teams. So for this Saturday’s game – in honor of Berkshire Hathaway shareholders weekend – the first 1500 fans will receive a Warren Buffett head bank.
Here are the details if you want to hit the Saturday night game. While you’re there… look for the Borsheims diamond whiffle ball field. It’s pretty great.
And if you’re a baseball fan, you won’t want to miss these gifts available at Borsheims. They are bottle openers made from bats used by some of your favorite Major League teams. They retail for $85.
