Did you get your credentials in the mail yet? I haven’t seen any, but talked with a couple this weekend who said they received theirs just a few days ago. And just having the credentials in hand made them so excited that they spent the weekend “pre-shopping” at Borsheims and Nebraska Furniture Mart, picking out what all they’ll buy during the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders weekend.

If you don’t have your credentials yet, don’t worry! Here’s the scoop from Berkshire Hathaway headquarters:- - The 2010 Annual Reports were mailed to shareholders of record and beneficial-but-not-of-record shareholders in mid-March.
- - Included in the mailing was a Proxy Statement
- - A perforated postcard was attached to the Proxy
- - Fill out and return the postcard to order your meeting credentials
- - Shareholders are entitled to a maximum of 4 meeting credentials
- - The credentials are required for the meeting and other weekend events, as well as to receive special shareholder pricing during the discount period.

Do you know how to acquire credentials if you are from abroad (Sweden)?

I purchased my shares on 03/10/2011. Do you know if I will get the credentials in my mail this year? If not, is there a way for me to get the credentials by showing up at the Qwest center(on April 29-30 with proof of ownership) as I live in Omaha?
I’m guessing you won’t receive any in the mail yet, since you likely didn’t have the chance to submit a request for them. Berkshire Hathaway always sets up a sort-of credential answer booth at the Qwest Center on Friday and Saturday to help out with requests like this one. The booth is open on Friday, April 29 from noon to 6pm and Saturday, April 30 from 7am to 4:30pm. Bring your proof of ownership and photo ID! If you want to call Berkshire headquarters and verify, their number is (402)346-1400.
What kind of discounts can I anticipate finding at NFM & Borsheims? This will be my first Annual Meeting.
